As an Agent with New York Life Insurance Company, I believe we have a responsibility to live up to the legacy of those who came before us, by doing all we can to help those who will come after us. I work for my community to raise awareness about securing their financial foundation and using the living benefits of life insurance as tools in their financial portfolio.  

I am the decendant of Caribbean immigrants, my grandfather and grandmother brought their 6 children to this country in the 1957 with nothing more than faith and a dream of success. They passed on stong family values like getting a good education and making prudent financial choices.  My uncle was also a New York Life Agent. He and my grandmother never missed an opportunity to remind us to save and invest for the future. My mother was a New York Life client, but sadly, she left us much too soon at 60 years old. 

Mommy had a Term policy that became her legacy for her 2 daughters. We felt her presence for many years. She helped her childen and grandchildren to complete their education. We were able to start businesses, purchase homes and protected the lifestyle that she created. She was there in times of crisis when we needed her most. The experience of being a Beneficiary showed me the true value of insurance and fueled my passion to become a New York Life Agent in 2017. 

Insurance is not for you, it is for the people you love.  

I am a mother, a wife, a grandmother; and for many years, I was also an adult caregiver. I have the same hopes and aspirations as many of my clients. My clients think of me as their personal financial fitness coach who helps them to create and follow their financial success strategy.

I particularly like helping business owners, who like me, have to prepare for college tuition,  create emergency funds and prepare for retirement while simultaneously operating their businesses. Their employees also depend of them to do the same for their families. I add value by enhancing their existing employee benefit plans and in many cases without increasing their bottom line.

If you're wondering about my qualifications, you might find it reassuring to know that I am a licensed agent to produce insurance & annuity products through New York Life Insurance Company and many other carriers. In addition to my insurance experience, I hold bachelor's degree in business administration and over 35 years of experience taking care of clients.
